Information for german applicants for an appointment in the foreign countries of Europe

What do you have to do?

FINDING A HOST ORGANISATION:

If you haven’t got a host organisation (a project) yet, you can search the EVS database: http://europa.eu/youth/evs_database

There you will find all accredited EVS projects, at which an application would be possible for you, and you can select countries and fields of activity! (select “country” and/or “theme”)

Attention! There are a few of EVS projects in non-accredited countries, you won’t find in the EVS database. For example: If you are looking for an appointment in Armenia, you have to explore on your own. Here the countries are listed, in which an EVS is possible: https://www.jugend-in-aktion.de/ueber-das-programm/foerderfaehige-laender/ (German).

SENDING YOUR APPLICATION DOCUMENTS:

Please send us the following documents and information via E-Mail:

  • Europass CV (You find the form here: http://europass.cedefop.europa.eu)
  • a motivation letter
  • information on the preferred time and duration, and the field of application of your EVS

You should fill the CV and write the motivation letter in English and depending on the language skills also in the language of the country, you want to go to.

You can apply for an EVS everytime, but should schedule an adequate preliminary lead time from your application to agreements with the host organisation, preparation of requests and final application at the national agency. (Applications at the national agencies are possible at the following due dates: February 1st, April 1st, June 1st, September 1st, November 1st.) Besides each host organisation has got its own deadline for applications and project periods.)
