2010 – International Youth Exchange “Blue Dawn Platform”, September 20th – 30th, 2010

From September 20^th to 30^th, 2010, the international youth exchange “Blue Dawn Platform” took place in Erfurt with participants from Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, and Germany involved.

The exchange was conceived literally as platform for the exchange of ideas, opinions, and experiences. Young people from very different countries, with different cultural and social background have been encouraged to share their knowledge, their culture, and their forms of expression through theatre and dance. “Blue Dawn” thereby represents a place of learning, exchange, and the will to change. Inspired of and guided by the European Year 2010, the year against poverty and social exclusion, the young participants not only worked together on that topic daily in dance and theatre workshops, but also got going a final presentation in front of the central railway station of Erfurt!

At this point sincere gratitude is given again to the OPERA Hostel of Erfurt, to the Esquina del Tango – Die Tangoschule in Erfurt (The tango dancing school of Erfurt), to our international project partners, and to the international team for supporting the realisation of the project!
